Study On The Color Plastics Of Lantian Water Land Temple In Shaanxi Province

The Land and Water temple is the water and land hall of the Wuzhen Temple built by the Sui Dynasty.It is located in the southeast of Lantian County,Shaanxi Province.Only the room of the Temple of the Water and the Land has shaped 3,700 statues,and there are beautiful and richly colored statues of the Ming Dynasty.From the twenty-four gods to the Buddha's birth story is vivid.The fusion of Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism,"three religions" is a master of the colorful sculptures.The layout of the water and land temple generally shows the formal characteristics of the building emphasizing the symmetrical balance and the main rhythm of the wall molding.The whole hall is divided into east and west by the backlit wall.The north and south gables are divided by the cross wall.The main body of the Eastern District is centered on the "Three Buddhas",and the north and south gables are left and right.The Western District is centered on the "Three Great Bodhisattvas" and forms a closed space with the north and south cross walls.Through the change of the wall placement position,the sacred water halls on the basis of the overall structure of symmetry and balance,and achieved the artistic effect of looking for change in neatness.Therefore,this paper attempts to explore from the following aspects,in order to form a comprehensive understanding of the color and water color plastic sculpture: firstly through the history of the water and land temple and the introduction of the color plastic content,the basic understanding of the water and land temple is formed;secondly,the color plastic shape and color are analyzed.,group image location arrangement,space creation,etc.,and the comparative study with the same period of color plastics,summed up the artistic characteristics of the water,land,and color,complex,delicate,delicate and realistic;thirdly,explore the content and ideas of the water and land temple,and grasp the Buddhism in the region in the Ming Dynasty.The characteristics of beliefs,which reflect the obvious pursuit of the spirit of the people,are particularly worthy of attention;finally,the cultural and artistic value of the paintings in the history of Chinese Buddhist art.
