XingShi as a kind of publication,has a profound historical origins with Nan She.GaoXu,founder of the XingShi Monthly,as well as one of the main sponsors of NanShe.In the process of launching XingShi Monthly,the revolutionary thought of NanShe was gradually formed.At the same time,NanShe was influenced by Sun Yat-sen’s the United League of China.They advocated national integrity,opposed feudal rule,making important public opinion preparations for the 1911 Revolution.As an important carrier of Nanshe’s thoughts,XingShi Monthly is an important platform for the spread of its revolutionary ideas.Through the investigation of XingShi Monthly,we gradually understand the role of XingShi Monthly in the spread of revolutionary thoughts and its mobilization of public opinion generated by the 1911 Revolution.This article takes the publication XingShi published by students studying in Japan as a case study.Through concrete analysis of its content,we examine the various contributions of students studying in Japan in the late Qing Dynasty.The patriotic enthusiasm of the students studying in Japan in the late of the Qing Dynasty was not only manifested in their participation in various political activities,but also in their extensive scientific propaganda and scientific enlightenment activities to the people.The focus of this thesis is mainly on the scientific knowledge propaganda and revolutionary ideological enlightenment of XingShi Monthly.By examining the ideological enlightening effect achieved by the scientific knowledge propaganda of XingShi Monthly,it analyzes its spreading effect on revolutionary ideological trends.Through the analysis and research of the content of the XingShi Monthly and its authors,it examines the formation of NanShe,the spread of revolutionary ideas,and the mobilization of public opinion generated by the 1911 Revolution.As a media tool,newspapers and magazines not only have the social function of disseminating news and knowledge,but also have the role of public opinion and mobilization.Therefore,how to play the social function of disseminating news and knowledge and publicity in major historical events has certain research value.Newspapers and magazines,as the basic historical materials for historical research,are an important basis for studying the history at that time.The XingShi Monthly is one of the advanced journals in the late Qing Dynasty.It contains articles that are of great significance as a historical data base for studying the history of the time.Taking history as a mirror,while studying historical changes at that time,through the analysis of the authors of the XingShi Monthly,studying how progressive people use the publications to promote progressive ideas is still very enlightening for our publicity and publicity work today.
