Study On Military Rites In Northern Song Dynasty

Military salute refers to the ceremonial ceremony related to military activities.This paper analyzes the content,development and characteristics of military ceremony in the northern song dynasty by discussing the political development in the northern song dynasty,the conflicts with neighboring countries and the ruling thoughts of rulers.The practice of military ceremony in the northern song dynasty was closely related to the political and military activities of the northern song dynasty.This paper is divided into four parts:The first chapter is the specific content of the military ceremony in the northern song dynasty.First of all,the evolution of military ceremony before the northern song dynasty is briefly described,and then the specific ritual and system of military ceremony in the northern song dynasty is discussed,including the emperor's personal conscription,orders to go to war,military ceremony,field hunting,surrender,prisoner sacrifice,cloth,ball game,and so on.The second chapter is the development process of military ceremony in northern song dynasty.It consists of three parts: the military ceremony in the early period of the northern song dynasty was mainly inherited from the previous generation,the adjustment and development period of the military ceremony in the middle period of the northern song dynasty,and the overall decline period of the military ceremony in the later period of the northern song dynasty.The third chapter is the characteristics of the development of the northern song dynasty.Through sorting out the contents of the military ceremony of the northern song dynasty,it can be seen that the military ceremony of the northern song dynasty was gradually institutionalized,closely related to military actions,and featured with performance.The fourth chapter is the actual influence and significance of the military ceremony in the northern song dynasty.Can be divided into the reorganization of the army,improve morale;Manifest imperial power.In a word,through the study of military rites in the northern song dynasty,we can have a deeper understanding of the evolution of military rites in various periods of the northern song dynasty and the influence of political and military aspects on it.
