With the development of modern society and the rapid rise of the Internet,also the gradual deepening of the new curriculum reform,English teaching has reached a new level.Grammar plays an important part in learning English.Therefore,students don' t like teachers to spoon-feed the lesson and the traditional teaching method is no longer suitable for today's teaching.There have been many problems such as many students have decreased their interest in learning,they have lower classroom participation and so on.Therefore,the channels for students to learn should be diversified.Teachers' teaching methods and curriculum design should be also diversified.It is necessary to use the scientific and effective teaching mode in teaching grammar.The flipped classroom teaching model is guided by "Hybrid learning theory",Independent learning theory" and "Mastery learning theory",and will reshape the role and positioning of teachers and students in the teaching relationship,and re-plan and arrange teaching time and process.Students don' t receive duck-feeding education in the classroom any more,but learn and think about the teaching content before class to form an independent thinking point of view,also at the same time summarize the puzzles and questions about knowledge points.The main task of teachers in the classroom is to help students understand and master knowledge,answer students' questions,and promote students to build their own knowledge system.Students have the initiative in the process of learning,actively exploring knowledge,and actively solving questions.Students truly become the masters of the classroom,but also experience the fun of learning.This research attempts to apply the teaching model of flipped classroom to English grammar teaching in high school,aiming to improve students 'English grammar scores and stimulate students' interest in English grammar learning.In this study,102 students from the two classes of the first grade of Yan'an Yu Ying Middle School were used as experimental objects(including 50 students from Class Three as an experimental class and 52 students from Class Seven as comparative class).The methods mainly contained questionnaires,experiments and tests.The experiment started in October,2019,which has been lasted for 12 weeks.At the same time,the flip classroom teaching model was used to teach students in the experimental class.Then the SPSS data analysis software was used to analyze and compare the performance of students before and after the experiment with the comparative class,it has shown that this teaching mode can improve students' English grammar scores from the experimental class.Compared the results of the two questionnaire surveys,we could conclude that the experimental students' interest in learning English grammar has changed apparently,and their love for English grammar learning has improved obviously.Therefore,the flipped classroom teaching model is effective in teaching English grammar in high school.
