There are a lot of Chinese ancient prints in Chongzhen period.As one of the representative prints in the late Ming dynasty,the Amazing Tales:Second Series shooting was published by ShangYouTang in the fifth year of Chongzhen period.Editions in this article,the cabinet library of Ming Chongzhen five years share with hall versions the hour,print illustration as the main research object,using literature research,image analysis and in-depth analysis of the specific from version,artistic features,with the other novel prints to discourse upon the comparison of the late Ming dynasty.The first chapter is to sort out the content and version of the novel.Amazing Tales:Second Series focuses on the collection of cabinet documents Amazing Tales:Second Series.It analyzes the style and characteristics of the illustrations in cabinet documents from the perspectives of picture layout,miniaturized characters and environment rendering.At the same time,through the analysis of the text content and the illustration content,it discusses the relationship between the pictures and texts.The third chapter is to sort out the situation of the edition of Bieben and Xingshiyan and Stories to Awaken Men,and then to make a comparative analysis of the characters,pictures and sentences in the illustrations of the cabinet edition and the French Edition.In the fourth chapter,around the text and illustration,the author explores the city consciousness and the literature of the time.At the same time,the author puts it under the background of the late Ming Dynasty,and compares it with Sanyan,SuiYangEmperor,Character Romance,and wonders of the present and the ancient.At last,the author summarizes the artistic value of the illustration of Amazing Tales:Second Series in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty Aesthetic value and social value.
