English curriculum standards for general high schools(2017 edition)defines language ability,cultural awareness,thinking quality and learning ability as the four dimensions of core literacy in English subjects.From these four dimensions,we determine the goals of our senior high school English curriculum,which is the key for our country.High school English teaching reforms point the way.English reading is an important way to cultivate students’ core literacy in English.Text interpretation is the first step for teachers to teach reading.How to reflect the cultivation of core literacy of English subjects in the interpretation of texts is the key to implementing the goals of English courses.However,many teachers still interpret texts at the level of learning specific linguistic knowledge such as vocabulary and grammar,and lack of in-depth analysis of discourse based on multiple goals.Therefore,the author explores how to interpret students ’English core texts in high school and English with the goal of cultivating students’ core core literacy,in order to help teachers improve their ability to interpret texts and promote the effective implementation of core core literacy goals in English.As one of the English language skills,reading plays an important role in English teaching and learning.Therefore,how to ensure the effectiveness of English reading teaching is crucial.In fact,text reading as a teaching concept is useful for English reading teaching.It plays an important role in the effective reading teaching.The purpose of this study is to understand the application of text interpretation in high school English reading teaching.It highlights its importance in two aspects: this study studies the impact of text interpretation on the effectiveness of reading teaching;the use of reliability,validity testing,and test testing makes the research more scientific.After research,the main findings are summarized as follows.For example,Most young and middle-aged teachers agree the idea of the new English curriculum standards and know about the text interpretation.Although they also try to use the text interpretation during reading teaching,they still think that the exam-oriented college entrance examination is more important.Thissituation makes the teaching content and activities.Some teachers fail to grasp the relevant dimensions when interpreting and reading the text,which leads to interpret text and design teaching activities insufficiently.In fact,although the correlated analysis of this study has a quite meaningful for English teaching,it still exists some limitations.Hope I can continue to research hard in the future’s study.
