Folk Customs Study Of Qianxi Shuitouzhai Ferry

Shuitouzhai Ferry is located in the Liuchong section of the main stream of the Wujiang River.It is a small cross-border ferry located in Qianxi County,Guizhou Province.It is located at the junction of Zhijin and Qianxi counties.Throughout the ages,the Shuitouzhai Ferry has played an important role in the interaction between the people on both sides of the strait,and ferrying people is the most basic element of the ferry's operation.A series of customs surrounding the ferry behavior of ferry people and their daily life are a more unique part of traffic folk customs.In previous folklore studies,the ferry customs of ferries have received less attention.To this end,this article uses folklore and ethnology-related theories and methods to conduct field investigations in Shuitouzhai Ferry crossing in western Qianxi,supplemented by literature materials.It intends to explore the northwestern Guizhou area by studying the traffic custom of ferrying folk customs.Transportation folk culture,especially the local ethnic cultural characteristics and transportation folk customs common to Miao society.The article also combines the ferry people's involvement in the tourism of Baili Gallery Scenic Area at the Source of Wujiang,and presents a new relationship between the changes in the ferry and the development of local tourism from the side.The thesis mainly focuses on the daily life customs of ferries,the relationship between ferries and transition people,the symbolic meaning of "passing people",and the influence of the concept of "moral virtue" on ferries.Through research,this article draws the following conclusions: First,the unique geographical location,human history,and ethnic customs have given Shuitouzhai ferry a different historical mission,and the ferry has become an important variable in the daily life of the surrounding people.Second,ferry customs The ferrying people's daily life,ferrying people's livelihood,time,risk,beliefs and taboos have contributed to the generation and continuous inheritance of ferry folklore.Third,ferrying people construct and maintain ferry through this behavior The social relationship network with the transitional person,and self-renewal and adjustment between the acquaintance society and the stranger society;fourth,the ferryman's decades of ferry career made him "doman" and cultivation The ideological concepts of the ferryman have completed the transformation of their social identity from time and space,and the "ordinary" body has gradually changed into a "sacred" body.Due to the complexity and timeliness of the ferry,there is still more to explore and discuss about the ferry folk culture of the Shuitouzhai Ferry.Both deserve further discussion.
