Research On Value-laden Of Artificial Intelligence

For a long time,"Is technology loaded with value?" This issue has always been the focus of controversy between techno logy instrumentalism and technology autonomy.At this stage,with the rap id progress and wide application of artific ial intelligence technology with machine learning as the core,a new wave of artificial intelligence makes technology autonomy gain more supporters.However,they are not completely opposite poles,but stand in different positions to analyze the nature of technology.According to Marx,the essence of technology is embodied in the practical relationship between man and nature,and it is the expression of man's essential power,which always contains man's purpose and need,so it is inevitable to load value.But the b iggest representative of modern technology autonomy "dataism" advocates that the intelligent system should be regarded as an active moral subject with built-in "moral algorithm",whose behavior is completely independent of human beings.This view is worth critic izing.Although artific ial intelligence technology has gained higher autonomy,it is still a purposeful and conscious practice activity of human beings in essence,and its products are only the objective expression of human subjective needs.Therefore,artific ial intelligence always carries the valu e needs of human beings,and the ultimate origin of its value can only be human beings as the main body and human society working.Technological artifact can't be a value vacuum zone separated from human and society.In fact,the purpose of the research on the value load of artific ial intelligence is to better realize the value of human beings.Therefore,this paper proposes a framework to systematically consider the core opportunities and corresponding value challenges provided by artific ial intelligence for promoting human dignity and prosperity of human society.The use of artific ial intelligence is to meet the needs of the subject,however,fear,ignorance,misplaced worry or excessive response may lead to great harm.Therefore,we must weigh the ability and limitation of AI techno logy,at the same time,examine its value impact on the formation of human nature and ethical challenges to society,and on this basis,constantly reflect on the realization of human virtue and the possibility of social overall progress represented by the above challenges.Generally speaking,technology is not a pure field independent of human and society,but a practical activity of specific historical people.Therefore,we must strengthen the ethical concern and value restriction to all stakeholders in the who le process of technological development.The key to strengthen the ethical construction of artificial intelligence and establish a correct value orientation is to shape the value concept of the subject,adhere to the design princip les of safety,flexib ility and accountability,and give full p lay to human initiative and creativity,so as to guide the powerful force of artific ial intelligence to the society,to everyone in the society and to our shared environment.
