With the continuous promotion of quality education,the education concept of“people-oriented” has gradually penetrated into every corner of education and teaching.Among them,the implementation of emotional education in the teaching process is not only an important content of quality education,but also an important guarantee to improve the quality of teaching and promote the development of students’ personality.Primary education,as the basic stage of students’ learning career,is also the key period of students’ physical and mental development.Therefore,implementation of emotional education in the process of primary school English language teaching should give full consideration to the students’ psychological feelings and emotional changes for creating a good emotional atmosphere,so that the student in English course teaching has the good emotional experience.And the emotional education is good for arousing students’ motivation and interest in learning English and promoting coordinated development of students’ cognitive and emotional balance and the formation of students’ good personality.Hence,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the problems and countermeasures of implementing emotional education in primary school English teaching.This paper adopts literature research method to define the concepts of emotion,emotion education and English teaching in primary schools,comprehensively analyzes the research results at home and abroad,and makes an in-depth study on the theoretical basis of implementing emotion education.On this basis,this paper takes H primary school in Harbin city as the research object,and uses the method of investigation and interview to investigate the current situation of the implementation of emotional education in English teaching from grade 3 to grade 6 in this school,which mainly includes: teachers and students’ cognition and understanding of emotional education in English teaching;the implementation and effect of the emotional education in English teaching in primary schools.Studies show that there are four problems in implementing emotional education in English teaching in H primary schools in Harbin: teachers andstudents’ awareness of emotional education is not clear;the emotional communication between teachers and students is not meticulous and harmonious;teachers’ digging of emotional factors in teaching materials not deep enough;the actual effect of implementing emotional education in teaching is not good.The causes of these problems mainly come from three aspects: teacher,student and school.Aiming at these problems and reasons,this article proposes the following solutions: first,to strengthen the deep integration of emotion between teachers and teaching materials;second,to increase the intensity of emotional resonance between teachers and students;third,to strengthen the innovation of teachers’ teaching emotional wisdom;Fourth,pay attention to the positive construction of the cultural atmosphere of campus emotional education.This paper did empirical research on the implementation of emotional education in English teaching in H primary schools in Harbin city.But its carding and analysis of the problems and the conclusion of the countermeasure conclusion is not mature and perfect enough and has its specificity and particularity.Consequently,the only hope of this paper is to inspire emotion education in the school English teaching and to help students get both emotion experience and knowledge from the teaching.
