Study On The Establishment And Development Of Zhexi Ci School From The Ci Anthologies Of Kangxi Dynasty

Ci Anthologies,as an important form of Ci poetry criticism,have greatly promoted the evolution of Qing Ci and the development of the Ci-poetry theory in the Qing Dynasty.The Zhexi Ci School is a vital school in the Qing dynasty,Ci Anthologies not only recorded and witnessed the establishment and development of the school,but also played a role in promoting and driving the development process.Analyzing the 15 anthologies in the Kangxi Dynasty covering Zhexi poets and their writings,we can outline a context in which the Zhexi Ci School has gradually become classical in the Kangxi Dynasty.Among them,there are three Ci Anthologies typical to promote the development of the Zhexi Ci School,which are the Jinci Yuan of the tenth year of Kangxi(1671),the Yaohua Ji of 26 th year of Kangxi(1687)and the Caotang Sixiang of 48 th year of Kangxi(1709).This paper makes a case analysis of these three key anthologies.The main framework of this paper is as follows:In the introduction,Firstly,this paper explains what is the Zhexi Ci School;secondly,it summarizes the research situation of the academic circles;thirdly,it explains the importance of the research on the Qing Ci and the selection of Zhexi Ci School,highlighting the research significance of the topic.The basic situation of the compilation of Zhexi Ci Anthologies in the Kangxi Dynasty is analyzed in the first chapter.First of all,based on the environment of the generation and development of Ci-poetry,this paper analyzes the reasons for the prosperity of Kangxi's Ci Anthologies.Secondly,based on the monographs such as A Grand Dictionary on Chinese Ci Poetry Research,Historical Studies of Ci-poetry and The Study on Ci Collectanea of Qing Dynasty,The Research About General Collection of Qing Ci Selected By Scholars In Qing Dynasty,this paper summarizes the general elements of the 37 recorded Ci Anthologies,and defines 15 anthologies covering the Zhexi Ci.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the selection of Zhexi Ci School's poets and their writings in order to outline the process during which the Zhexi Ci School gradually became a classic in the Kangxi Dynasty.In the second chapter,this paper analyzes the promotion of the Jinci Yuan to theestablishment of Zhexi Ci School.Chen Weisong,the selector of Jin Ci Yuan,took the lead in selecting Zhu Yizun,a leader of the Zhexi Ci School,and his 12 writings into the anthology.Although the number is not large,there are some selections of Zhu's Ci poems of various styles.Besides,selectors fully affirmed Zhu Yizun's creation of Long Poems.In addition,the anthologist's selection of Ci works such as Hong Qing and Pipa Xian has also promoted the appreciation and recognition of Zhu's Ci works.Under the influence of Chen Weisong and the Jinci Yuan,Zhu Yizun's reputation was greatly promoted,which laid a solid foundation for the establishment of the Zhexi Ci School.In the third chapter,this paper analyzes Yao Hua Ji's contribution to the development of Zhexi Ci School.In the middle of Kangxi Dynasty,Yao Hua Ji is a very influential large-scale Ci Anthology.Judging from the selected Zhexi poets,it affirmed Cao Rong's inspiration to the Zhexi Ci School,and established Zhu Yizun's dominance in the Kangxi Ci-poetry field.Most importantly,the selector also outlined a relatively complete structure of the Zhexi School's poets.Besides,it affirmed the efforts of the Zhexi Ci School in the creation of Long Poems,and promoted their "empty" style of Ci-pomes on objective and their "elegant" style of Flowery pomes,thus further expanding the influence of the Zhexi Ci school in the Ci-poetry field.In the fourth chapter,this paper summarizes the influence of Caotang Sixiang on the Zhexi Ci School.It was already in the late Kangxi period when the Caotang Sixiang was compiled.At this time,the pattern of Ci poetry was basically stable,and the Zhexi Ci School in the Kangxi Dynasty has basically been a classic.Therefore,in this Ci Anthology,the selection of the key Zhexi's poets is very rational.In addition,this anthology also absorbs and develops the theories of the Zhexi Ci School,such as showing elegance,focusing on rhythm,and expressing emotions with nostalgic themes.In the last part,this paper summarizes the full text.
