Extension Of Petroleum Industry Research (1935-1950)

Yanchang Oil Mine is the earliest natural oil mine developed in mainland China.Since the establishment of the Yanchang Petroleum Factory in 1905,it has a history of more than 100 years.It has made due contributions to the prosperity of the economy of the old area and the development of industrial and agricultural production in northern Shaanxi.Yanchang Petroleum has experienced the tortuous development of the Qing government,the Beiyang government,and the Nanjing National Government,with little success.In 1935,the liberation and extension of the Northern Shaanxi Red Army took over the Northern Shaanxi Oil Mine Exploration Office and the Yanchang Petroleum Factory,which was renamed the Yanchang Petroleum Plant,which opened the prelude for the CCP to develop the petroleum industry.After the Xi’an Incident,the CCP,with no experience in industrial construction,resumed the normal production of the petroleum industry in the border areas under extremely difficult circumstances such as shortage of talents and lack of funds and equipment to ensure the supply of anti-war materials and supply the frontline,institutions and people in the border areas.Make outstanding contributions during the period of the overall anti-Japanese war.The Anti-Japanese War entered a phase of stalemate.The Japanese army concentrated its activities in the liberated area.The Kuomintang imposed a military and economic blockade on the border areas of Shaanxi,Gansu,and Ningxia.The plant further developed.The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has sent technical personnel to extend the geological survey and exploration for many times,providing valuable information for the development of the oil plant.The discovery of the Qilicun oil field has greatly increased oil production.At the same time,the oil plant reformed its management system and improved its equipment.,Improve production technology,expand the workforce,promote production and marketing,and realize further development of oil plants.After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,the civil war broke out,Hu Zongnan attacked Yanan,the oil factory was forced to bury the equipment and oil products,and the development of the oil factory stalled.In 1948,Hu Zongnan’s troops retreated,the Yanchang Oil Factory resumed production,contributed to supporting the war of liberation,and laid a solid foundation for the construction and development of the new China’s petroleum industry.This paper reviews the expansion and promotion of the work of extending oil development in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningbo Border Region led by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,and discusses the different dilemmas and solutions to the exploration and practice of the Chinese Communist Party in the context of the Anti-Japanese War.The social performance of industrialization has played an important role in the victory of the Chinese Communist Party under the leadership of the Anti-Japanese War and the overall victory of the national liberation.On the basis of this research,the in-depth analysis of the CCP’s early oil development concepts,experience,and the relationship between oil and the Chinese revolution was made.
