In recent years,the development of public art in Taiwan is shifting to new types of public art.The setting of public art has gradually shifted from urban streets to communities,The importance of public participation has been emphasized,and communities that have developed in parallel with Taiwan's public art policy for 26 years The overall construction policy also promotes the advancement of Taiwan's public art with a special force,and public art often becomes a way of community construction.With the promotion of government agencies,the enthusiastic participation of artists,and the cooperation of the public,Taiwan has created many excellent cases of community public art.Taipei Treasure Hill is one of the typical cases.This kind of public art practice is fundamentally not only an art form,but also art as an intermediary and means.Its significance lies not only in the production of public art works,but also in the establishment and connection of various relationships in the process..In the establishment and connection of this relationship,public participation is the key factor.This article takes the case of the Taipei Treasure Hill as a case study.Through field investigations and the induction and reflection of relevant literature,it examines the specific conditions and mechanisms for promoting public participation in public art during the development of public art in Taiwan.When intervening in the community,how the three important roles of the government,the artist,and the public establish an interactive relationship,and reveal the importance of public participation in public art.The study found that under the influence of Taiwan's social environment,various factors such as survival power,policy development,and art stimulation have nurtured the soil for public participation in public art.In the actual operation of public art,there are many ways for public participation.In the case of Treasure Rock International Art Village,through the participation of the people,art no longer plays the role of beautifying the environment,but also is a medium for thinking and interaction.This process is intertwined with the confrontation and dialogue,conflict and harmony,collision and anticipation of the three forces of government,artist and people.The benefits it raises can increase people's understanding of art and community recognition,but also because Expectations are different,and their respective expressions may not form a consensus,thus causing the dilemma of public art practice.This article believes that the above findings also bring enlightenment to the development of public art in the mainland,pointing out that the mainland should establish and improve a reasonable public art policy and public participation mechanism,increase the active awareness of public participation,and build a new model of art involvement in the community,with a view to the public The development of art provides a reference.
