Study On The Cultuml Change Of The Youshui River Shipman's Chant

Minority Ethnic culture not only occupies an important position in the cultural system of the Chinese nation,but also plays an important role in the construction of socialist culture.Youshui Shipman's chant is a kind of labor song issued by boatmen in order to coordinate their movements,unify their rhythm and mobilize their labor emotions in the process of sailing.It originated in youshui river,where mainly live in the tujia and miao ethnic minorities.However,with the decline of youshui shipping,the precious legacy of youshui boatman's number has shrunk and declined.In 2008,youshui Shipman's chant was included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.This paper studies the cultural changes of youshui Shipman's chant in order to put forward some thoughts on how to protect and utilize youshui Shipman's chant much better as an intangible cultural heritage.The Shipman's chant is the most popular in baojing county of xiangxi state,which is located in the middle of youshui river.In this paper,from the perspective of cultural change,the fuxing town of baojing county is taken as a field site for investigation,and the case of youshui Shipman's chant is analyzed and studied.In space,the modern youshui Shipman's chant is no longer limited to the ship,the beach,but on the stage,the classroom,the screen,which can be carried out everywhere.In terms of form and content,in addition to the originally traditional lyrics and singing methods,some modern lyrics and content are integrated,and other forms of folk songs are also combined to enrich the form.However,there are many reasons leading to the change of youshui Shipman's chant,among which the change of people's production and life style caused by the development of economy and technology is the main factor.For the local people,the changes of the Shipman's chant has important implications,although the value of the accompany encouragement on the ship has been completely fade,but it is a symbol of working people diligence and wisdom,and became active in a way of people's cultural life and a means of government departments to develop economic and trade.By paying attention to the cultural changes of youshui Shipman's chant and exploring the value of Shipman's chant to the local people,the whole society can be aroused to pay attention to and attach importance to the intangible cultural heritage that is about to be lost,and provide a good social environment for the inheritance of the "living state" of the intangible cultural heritage.In a word,due to the cultural changes in contemporary society,for the sustainable development of precious intangible cultural heritage,the preservation and development of local culture such as youshui Shipman's chant has become the consensus of all ethnic groups.
