This study aims to explore the intervention of Naikan Therapy on compulsory drug addicts’ impulsivity based on delay discounting task,at the same time combining the ERP technique to record the compulsory drug addicts’ brain activity for making a thorough inquiry into the mechanism and the path of intervention. The study mainly consists of two parts, the first of which is to explore the level and characteristics of compulsory drug addicts’ impulsivity based on delay discounting task and the Barratt Impulsivity Scale, and the relationship between the impulsivity and craving and the relapse tendency. In the second study, explored the intervention of Naikan Therapy on Compulsory Drug Addicts’ Impulsivity combining ERP for making a thorough inquiry into the mechanism of intervention. In addition, the second was also measured addicts’gratitude, guilt, positive and negative emotions, craving and control induced by situation before and after intervention, intended to explore the effect of Naikan Therapy on craving and control and the path of intervention on impulsiviy. The results of the first study showed that,(1)The impulsivity of drug addicts was different in demographic variables, and there was a significant correlation between the impulsivity of drug addicts and whether they had stable jobs and the average consumption per time.(2)There was a grade effect on the impulsivity of drug addicts to rewards, and lower the reward, the more impulsivity.(3)There was no significant correlation between the impulsivity of drug addicts and the craving,so was the relapse tendency. But the impulsivity was negatively coorrelated with the degree of physical and mental impairment, which was a dimension of relapse tendency. The second study showed that,(1)The frequency of drug addicts choosing immediate reward in the delay discounting task decreased, prompting drug addicts’ impulsivity decreased after the intervention.(2)The response time and the P3 amplitude of drug addicts when choosing delayed reward increased significantly, which giving opinions that drug addicts were more patient in decision-making after intervention.(3)The gratitude and the negative emotions induced by "healthy guilty" of drug addicts increased significantly, but there was no significant correlation between them and the frequency of choosing immediate reward and the response time in delay discounting task, suggesting that the effect of Naikan Therapy on impulsivity was may be based on cognitive change rather than gratitude emotion.(4)After the intervention Naikan Therapy, the situational craving and the lack of control of drug addicts reduced significantly.
