The Huang Di Si Jing is a silk book unearthed from the Han Tomb of MaWangDui.It was formed in the middle and late Warring States period and is a representative work of Huang Lao's thought.The Huang Di Si Jing embodies the complexity of Huang Lao thought.Based on Laozi's thought and relying on Huang Di's words,the text integrates the thoughts of Huang Di in the ancient times,Confucianism in the pre-Qin period,Legalism and yin-yang school for its own use.In order to meet the needs of the unification of the reform in the middle and later period of the Warring States period,it forms a political philosophy and monarchy different from the early Taoism it is called“Huang Lao Dao Jia”by Han Shu·Yi Wen Zhi.As an unearthed cultural relic,the Huang Di Si Jing is of great value,which is of great significance to the study of the academic thought trend in the middle and-late Warring States period and the ideological research in the early Han Dynasty.The thought of“form and name”is the core thought of the Huang Di Si Jing.It combines Tao with Law by means of“form and name”.It not only endows“name”and "law" with the validity of metaphysical principle,but also implements the principle of Tao to the operational level and to the political field.In the Huang Di Si Jing,the“Dao Sheng Fa",“Xing Ming Can Tong”,“Xing De system”and“Wu wei thought”all have a strong color of“Huang Lao”,and they have jointly constructed the South skill of the monarch and the people in line with the needs of the times.As the product of the integration of hundreds of schools,the thought of form and name in the Huang Di Si Jing is also related and different from that of Laozi,Confucianism and Legalists,which embodies the sharing of academic thoughts based on their own system in the Warring States period,and reflects the trend of integration between schools in the late Warring States period and the evolution trend of metaphysical principles implemented to the operational level.
