Taking Fonts as the object and cognitive science as the breakthrough point,this paper analyzes how to use the multi-dimensional reading form of visual elements and cognitive association to make creative fonts more interesting and cultural,guide the audience to achieve emotional resonance and improve their artistic quality.From the introduction,multi-dimensional reading,font visual communication,font design and cognition,font multi-dimensional reading form and cognitive association,five aspects of the study.In today's rapid development of science and technology in the environment,has produced a multi-way and fast-food reading form,the transmission of information has become extensive and efficient.Characters,under the function of special readability,culture and region,bear the important function of communication.With the improvement of people's living standard,the demand for culture is also rising day by day.The single font form and typesetting can not satisfy people's demand for visual aesthetics and quick acceptance of information.Designers need to solve the visual effect at the same time,further expand the font of reading interest and cultural,information transfer function.Combining the visual expression form of the font with people's cognitive experience,guiding the audience's emotion and thinking,thus extending the multidimensional reading form of the font and the new direction of Cognitive Association Research.The research of this paper starts from four aspects: Research Background,analysis of current situation at home and abroad,relevant work and research content of the subject,and collects a large number of cases and documents of font design,theoretical data,and collates and analyses them,it is believed that in the visual communication,the font is both the form and the meaning of the performance,in today's reading simplification,multi-publishing Technology Society,is still the mainstream of visual communication elements.Secondly,from two aspects of multi-dimensional reading and reading form,it explains the expression form and artistic value of each visual element,and deeply analyzes the development of reading media and the evolution of visualcommunication.Third,from the font structure,Latin font font brief font communication diversity,and visual elements of the text,graphics,color communication to do further explanation.Fourthly,the cognitive process of font design is analyzed by applying the cognitive component of visual perception.Through the previous theoretical research and analysis of examples,from the multi-dimensional reading form of the font and the cognitive association of the Font,it is concluded that the designer should grasp the culture,the times,the popularity of the font itself,and the association and commonness between multi-dimensional visual elements.On the basis of perception and experience cognition,the paper finds out the conjunction point of cultural connotation,language and emotion,space-time or logic of visual elements.According to the evocative association between form and form,or between form and meaning,works with varied visual expression and humanistic connotation and interest can be designed.And this argument for the future font of cultural presentation and transmission,to make the matting and reference in the early stage.
