This paper demonstrates that Schenker's theory can analyze the Beethoven's "Kreutzer "Sonata deeply and comprehensively, thus affecting the performer's logical interpretation of the work."Kreutzer" Sonata is famous for its size, virtuoso, and the relationship it fosters between the violin and the piano.Performers should interpret this piece deeply as a whole to participate the tension of musical coherence. The Austrian music theorist Heinrich Schenker's theory which based on the organic coherence emphasizes the "structure" and the "prolongation" of the harmonic function, treats music works as a whole.According to Schenker's conception of background, midground and foreground, this paper tries to achieve ture musical punctuation of "Kreutzer" sonata, but not to overemphasize every single note, not to overestimate the value of the bar line and not to destroy the direction and shape of the phrasing. The author selects independent complete paragraphs with cadence from each movement, uses Schenker's method, removes the embellishment on the surface of this piece, traces to the background and finds out the most primitive structure(fundamental structure),and then analyzes the prolongation of the structure macroscopically.Further, the author will combine the Schenkerian Analysis with Performance, and look for the authentic scores, recordings, pedagogy books which are appropriate for Schenker's analysis. The performer's interpretation ingrate with the structural logic, forming the performance logic Finally.
