As a scholar-type writer,Li'er,a writer born in the 1960s,has created many unique novels with his unique narrative style. His novels are characterized by revelry both in their dominant features and stylistic forms.Based on bakhtin's theory of carnival, this paper interprets the carnival narration of li 'er's novels and explores the value of carnival narration in Li'er's novels. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the main body of this paper is divided into three parts:The first chapter discusses the components of the carnival world in li 'er's novels, including carnival space-time and carnival image. In terms of time and space,Li'er created a carnival time and space with the participation of all the people in the novel, set a "threshold" in the fragmented daily life, lead the characters to the carnival square for intimate communication, and construct a carnival world. In terms of image,Li'er created voluptuous and vulgar figures and flesh images. In terms of character image,Li 'er created a group of characters who are used to making jokes. In terms of body image, there are a large number of "lower body writing" and excretory organ writing in Li'er's novels. The second chapter discusses the revelry style in Li er's novels, focusing on the unique artistic effects formed by the coronation and decrowning structure,multi-part dialogue, miscellaneous narration and rhetorical devices of irony and metaphor. The third chapter discusses the value orientation of revelry narration in Li 'er's novels.First of all,Li'er deconstructs the grand historical narrative and constructs the skeptical historical vision through the revelry of history.Secondly,Li 'er examines the variation of carnival in the post-modern context and criticizes the carnival of desire and its moral degradation. Finally, when the individual loses the subject consciousness and the action ability in the oratory discourse vortex,Li 'er also expresses his pursuit of individual free will.
