| As a kind of auditory art,music has a certain lag compared with visual arts such as painting and architecture,and its meaning is not as obvious as literature,but as a kind of human behavior,music must contain certain consciousness and cultural meaning.The feminine characteristics of the Rococo style was widely recognized,and there are a lot of metaphors and comments in the fields of painting,architecture,and literature,but the strange thing is few people mention it in the field of music.I guess the reason is that as an ear-related art,music cannot express sexual characteristics as clearly as visual art;the second is the study of sexual characteristics of pure music was produced in the 1970 s and 1980 s with the rise of Feminism.People are still unfamiliar with the interpretation of gender in music.Last but not least,the pre-classical period to which Rococo music belongs is a transitional period,it is not as crucial as the Baroque and Classical periods.The thesis consists of three parts according to the logic of proving its existence,how to exist,and the meaning of its existence.The first chapter focusing on the periphery of Rococo music,Rococo style is an artistic style.Its feminine characteristic is a kind of unity characteristic and particularly evident in the fields of painting and architecture.Galant style derived from Rococo style,and the scope of it is much wider than Rococo music.The femininity of Galant style can also help to prove the fact that rococo music is feminine.In the second chapter,I focus on the musical analysis,which is divided into two levels,one is to explore the feminization of harpsichord,and the other is to analyze the feminine characteristics in music.The Western countries usually regards harpsichord as a traditional feminine instrument,and the popularity of it reflect the feminization of rococo music.Musicians usually have some preferences in composing,which formed a kind of feminine style,in this chapter,I will analyze this phenomenon in rococo music.In chapter three,I will analyze the reason of the feminization of music from two perspectives,and then explain its value from both active and negative aspects.And also,I try to quote Feminist Theory to support my ideas. |
