A level of the civilization in a national country has different expressing forms. In the field as everyone knows, "art" is one of the criterion to express this level or to measure the civilization. In the river of the developing human civilization, in the field of the art, there are lots of art styles besides you, and every art style has a deep impression to us. Some of them last for centuries in the society. They stride across the times and exceed the space. In now days we are always talk about these styles. However some of them, use their beauty entirely, and bring the enjoyment of the eye -sight, but people in now times give them the wrong judgment. The rococo style just like the latter. With the only 75 years in its life, it gives us many beautiful works, but our judgments are unkind and unfair. In this thesis, through the discussing about the rococo in France I try hard to defeat the original image of the rococo.Except the preface in this thesis, there are five chapters. In the preface, do mainly about the conditions of the research of the rococo style, and some relevant books, then figure out the weak about the research in our country, and illustrate the research's significance and methods.When you know a art style, first you need to know when it yields, and then know about the character and the expressing forms.
