Huainan Town And Literati And Literature Research In The Middle And Late Tang Dynasty

Huainan town was the "xiongfan" in the middle and late Tang Dynasty.It is an important source of Finance and taxation for the central government because of its superior geographical position and relatively stable society.There were many famous officials,such as Niu senruo,Li Deyu and Duan Wenchang,who were influential in the political life of the middle and late Tang Dynasty.Many literati also came here,such as Liu Yuxi,Du Mu,etc.who had served as bureaucrats;Wei Yingwu,Li Shen,who had served as governors.For a time,the literati in Huainan area gathered together and their creation flourished,which became an important literary phenomenon in the middle and late Tang Dynasty.Their experiences in Huainan had an important influence on their official career and literary creation.Based on this,this paper analyzes and studies the following aspects of the works and creation of the scholars entering the Huaihe River.The first chapter is the location,economic development and political status of Huainan town.This chapter summarizes the historical evolution and environmental geographical characteristics of Huainan Town,studies its significance to the central government of Tang Dynasty as a "financial type" vassal Town,and combs the trend of prosperity and decline of Huainan town economy in the middle and late Tang Dynasty.Under this influence,the status of Huainan town in the middle and late Tang Dynasty was analyzed.The change of this position had an important influence on the literati entering and leaving the Huaihe River in the middle and late Tang Dynasty.In the second chapter,the influence of experience in Huainan on literati.Based on the understanding of Huainan Town,this chapter analyzes the characteristics of literary creation and the changes of the attraction of Huainan town to the literati in different periods by combing the types of literati in Huainan town and the reasons for the literati to enter Huainan Town,and then analyzes the importance of the experience of entering Huainan town for the literati to transfer their official positions before and after entering Huainan.The third chapter,part of the representative in the Huai literati research.This chapter is the expansion and supplement of the second chapter.It analyzes some typical literati's travel,literary creation and life experience in Huaihe,and discusses the influence of their experience in Huaihe.For example,Wei Yingwuwrote nearly one-fifth of his poems in Chuzhou,Liu Yuxi's different mood from being an official to being relegated to Huainan,the power struggle demonstrated by Niu senru and Li Deyu succeeding Huainan Jiedu emissary,and the experience of Li Shen's two terms of Huainan Jiedu from six to Huainan are typical,which is an important case to study Huainan town and literati and literature in the middle and late Tang Dynasty Example.Chapter four,Huainan Town Literature and the literature of the middle and late Tang Dynasty.This chapter studies the relationship between the literature of Huainan town and the literature of the middle and late Tang Dynasty by analyzing the literary creation characteristics of the literati entering Huainan town and the image of Huainan in the literary creation of Huainan Town,and then analyzes the important position of the literati entering Huainan town and the literary creation of Huainan town in the literary history of the middle and late Tang Dynasty.Based on the analysis of the above four chapters,this paper discusses the influence of Huaihe experience on the literati from two aspects: the literati entering Huaihe and their literary creation,which enriches the research perspective of vassal town and literature research.
