Socia-economical Study On Huainan Dao In Tang Dynasty

In the field of history, the history study of regional Socia-economic is just unfolding in ascendant research. Especially the study of economy on Huainan region in the Tang Dynasty, has drawn increasing attention of scholars. In the late Tang Dynasty, the economy of Huainan Dao.has rapid developed and has increasing the proportion of national economy.The growing economic strength of Huainan Dao has been playing an increasingly important role in the political and economic life of the Tang Empire. In this text, on the results of previous studies on the Huainan Road, the author committed to the Huainan Dao-depth discussion of socio-economic aspects.Explanation has been sought after the following aspects:First, about the setup of Tang Huainan throught the study of setup of Huainan Jiedushi. and chronological Jiedushi,the author wanted to explore the linkages.between the the appointment of the political and military commissioner in Huainan Dao and the economic development in this region.Second, about household occupants in Huainan Dao.According to the ancient literature, the author tried to find the account changes in the region and to explore the reasons of the change.and the impact on the area.Third, about the water project in the region. Huainan region make a great progress in water irrigating,. a number irrigating projects has greatly been reducing the flood and drought in the region.,which greatly promoted the agricultural production in the area.Fourth, about Huainan Dao business. The business in this region made prosperity in Tang Dynasty. Tea and salt are two types of bulk trade,that directly related to the state and local taxes, the two types materrials are not only an important component of the local economy, but also its'characteristics.Fifth, about transport and especially water transport. From the perspective of regional economic history we can not ignored the feudal state transportation decision,which made great effects on reginal economical development. In an other aspects,the entire economical centre has moved to the south of china in Tang Dynasty,which led to ascending of the importance of this region.Almost all the southeast materials has been transported through the water transport in this area.Sixth, about the city of Yangzhou.In the late Tang Dynasty, Yangzhou became the capital of Huainan Dao,. The seat of Huainan Jiedushi government has been placed in the city.The city has been collecting and distributing centre of southeast materials.
