Intonation and timbre are two things that every violinist pursues throughout his life.Intonation is the basis of musical expression.Music without intonation is meaningless.Violin is the most demanding instrument in terms of intonation control. It puts extremely high demands on the player's intonation control ability. However, there are too many scholars who study the problem of violin intonation, but most of them stay at the level of theoretical analysis, not from the practical perspective of performance. The ultimate goal of the theoretical study of intonation is to perform,so this article aims to analyze the main aspects of the problem of intonation control from the perspective of practice through the problems that may be encountered in practical performance,so as to prove the intonation of the violin is not the only one.The purpose of research is to make the player realize subjectively that he has the ability to self-identify and control the intonation during the actual performance, and to cope with the various intonation problems that may be encountered. This article will take the first movement of American composer Corigliano's contemporary piece "Violin and Piano Sonata" as an example.Difficult points analysis summarizes the main issues that violin players need to know in their performance practice. The author innovatively starts from the actual performance perspective and adopts a combination of practice, theory, theory and practice to thoroughly analyze the intonation problem and explore the control of violin intonation. The specific method enables the player to have the comprehensive ability of intonation control.
