Collation And Study Of Ancient Words In Stone Carvings In Song Dynasty

The term was first seen in the Shih Chi,such as the book Wudibenji,the Wu Taibo Shijia and the Biographies of Zhong Ni's disciples.Later,the Biography of The Rulin in the Hanshu added the words "Confucius had the ancient words Shangshu,but the Anguo read it in the modern characters ".As for the definition of ancient words,Mr.Li Chuntao points out that ancient words in philology refers to the form of ancient words preserved by later generations,among which the main body is the Warring States words.Because of its strokes like tadpole figurate,the ancient or called tadpole words,now academia also known as the Copying ancient words.In this paper,the so-called Ancient words in song Dynasty stone carvings belong to this category.A large number of ancient words in stone carvings in the Song Dynasty have been preserved.Now 1,160 examples of ancient words in stone carvings in the Song Dynasty and the Song Dynasty are collected,including the first 390.Due to the limited space,the author selected 100 ancient Chinese characters from 390 characters to study their shape change,and summarized the rule of shape change and the characteristics of calligraphy.In writing,the extracted examples of ancient Chinese characters are uniformly processed in size,and the sources,dates,names and other information of the examples are indicated.Secondly,on the basis of fully mastering the raw material,This paper compares and analyzes the glyphs of ancient stone carvings in Song Dynasty with those of different periods,investigates the similarities and differences of the glyphs,and then summarizes the characteristics of ancient stone carvings in Song Dynasty.The basic materials of ancient writings on stone carvings in the Song Dynasty mainly come from rubbings collected in The Collection of Rubbings on Chinese Stone Carvings in Successive Dynasties collected by Beijing Library and unearthed in recent years,as well as unrecorded rubbings collected through the Internet.Glyph,select relevant words from the song dynasty stone carving Gu Wen example,compare its form with the pre-qin words,Shuowenguwen,Three-body stone writing and words in tang dynasty form in the similarities and differences,discuss its change law,finally summarized as enriched,simplify,split,correct writing,displacement component,component replacement,seven phenomenon,and then on this basis,summed up the overall characteristics of the song dynasty stone carving ancient words changes.By collating and analyzing,which can be found in the same section,the Chinese characters form similar glyphs are mostly belongs to the inheritance,its reason is roughly in Chinese characters to their original state,under the same section of words form,great changes have taken place if its representation is kept still,shows that Chinese characters in the process of using and developing the sound character improved remarkably.There are also different examples of the same font,the reason should be in the use of the words,the phenomenon of people's use of the words,resulting in the different font is similar,this kind of character is later known as heterogeneous characters,in fact,is mostly the result of simultaneous use and borrowing.By comparing of word form cases,found some of the words change phenomenon is also amazing,Chinese characters as a whole,is made up by different components,these components can be a single Chinese character,also can be a single stroke,in written form in the process of evolution,some components in the case of does not affect the general structure of the Chinese characters can be displacement,or replacement,so that you can better use writing carrier position,space,it also reflects people wisdom and aesthetic meaning of configuration,with the calligraphy creation "by word form".In addition,the component of a certain Chinese character is originally relatively complex,so it can be simplified when writing,in order to better adapt to the practical functions of later society,that is,the so-called simplification.This phenomenon is also quite obvious in ancient stone carvings.On the contrary,some Chinese characters are relatively simple,but they are added in writing,so as to become more complex.The reason should be aesthetic intention.
