Under the influence of the high-pressure political environment and the Qianjia school in the Qing Dynasty, scholars in the Qing Dynasty paid more attention to the textual research of “ buried in the old paper pile ”.In order to consolidate the ruling order of the Qing Dynasty and maintain its orthodox thought,Emperor Qianlong presided over the compilation of Si Ku Quan Shu and formed a comprehensive work of bibliography,Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu,which established the classification of calligraphy documents into sub art categories with the official ideology. This paper is divided into three parts: introduction, body and conclusion. The text is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter, through sorting out the official and private catalogues of the past dynasties,it is clear that the classification of calligraphy literature mainly experienced the evolution process from the primary school of Jingbu to the sub art.The main reasons are the development of calligraphy itself, the increasing number and types of calligraphy documents, and the deepening of people's understanding of calligraphy. The second chapter analyzes and studies the general situation of calligraphy documents recorded in the sub art category of Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu.First of all,use the table to summarize the description and storage of calligraphy documents, understand the origin of calligraphy documents and the distribution of works in dynasties, and then introduce and analyze each calligraphy document according to the summary. In the third chapter,by analyzing the description principle of the sub art calligraphy documents and the calligraphy thoughts reflected,we can make clear the calligraphy thoughts of the compilers of the summary of calligraphy documents and calligraphy documents. In this chapter,by analyzing the description principles and the calligraphy thoughts reflected in the sub art calligraphy documents,we can clarify the calligraphy thoughts of the compilers and creators.According to the general catalogue of Si Ku Quan Shu,we can summarize the description principles of its calligraphy documents into three kinds: the unity of “ knowing the people and discussing the world ”,the Enlightenment of “ explaining the sages and learning the king's way ”and the practicability of “ Xie bixu's talk and Dunzi's practical study ”.His calligraphy thoughts are mainly manifested in two aspects: one is to discuss the evolution process of five major ancient Chinese calligraphy styles, explore the origin of fonts, and elaborate the evolution process of calligraphy styles. The second is to grasp the evolution of calligraphy style and reveal the development law of calligraphy theory through the elaboration and analysis of calligraphy style and calligraphy thoughts of calligraphers. The fourth chapter analyzes the philological value, academic and cultural value and practical significance of the calligraphy documents described in the sub art category of Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu.At the same time,it also points out many shortcomings, such as the biased evaluation, the wrong description of calligraphy documents and the omission of the description of calligraphy documents caused by the times and human factors.
