| With the development of China’s economy and the continuous strengthening of its comprehensive national strength,many enterprises choose to come to China for development,which makes more and more people learn Chinese.Different groups of learners have different needs.The staff coming to China is a large group,and their needs deserve our attention.Different from overseas students,they have their own particularity,learning time,learning reasons,learning objectives and so on.Only by understanding the real needs of learners,can we have a targeted Chinese teaching and improve the learning effect of learners.Based on the theory of needs analysis,this paper designs a questionnaire about the Chinese learning needs of the staff in China.The respondents are employees from different companies,industries and countries.The main contents of the survey mainly focus on four aspects:learning environment,teaching content,learning methods and teachers’ quality.Through the investigation of Chinese learning needs of employees,the purpose is to understand the real needs of this group,and provide some help for the future Chinese teaching work,so as to find a suitable teaching method for this group and improve the learning effect of learners.The paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part,which includes five parts:the reason of choosing the topic,the research summary,the research content and method,the research significance and the theoretical basis.This paper expounds the reasons for choosing the topic and understands the development of this field.And the significance of the research topic.The second chapter is the design and implementation of the questionnaire.The design of the questionnaire refers to the needs analysis model of Hutchinson and waters.A questionnaire on Chinese learning needs of employees in China was designed,and the objects and purposes of the questionnaire were explained.The content of this chapter also includes the implementation method of the questionnaire,the statistical method of data and the problems to be solved in this survey.The third chapter is the main part of the paper,which is about the analysis and discussion of the survey results of Chinese learning needs of the staff in China.The demand part of the questionnaire is divided into two parts:target demand and learning demand.The data analysis of the questionnaire is also divided into two parts:target needs analysis and learning needs analysis.Firstly,descriptive analysis is made on the questionnaire.Firstly,the basic information of the respondents is analyzed to understand the gender,age,nationality,position,etc.of the subjects.Secondly,the objective needs are analyzed to understand the learning reason and purpose of the learners.Finally,the learning needs are analyzed to understand the subjects’ teaching content,teaching methods,learning environment and teachers And so on.At last,the paper analyzes the differences and summarizes the differences in Chinese learning needs of employees of different genders and levels.The fourth chapter is to compare the needs of Chinese learning between Chinese employees and overseas students in the future,and find out the similarities and differences between the two groups.The fifth chapter is about the suggestions of Chinese teaching for the staff in China.The sixth chapter is the conclusion,which is the last chapter of the paper.It summarizes the research and points out the shortcomings of this study.In this survey,we found that the main learning purpose of the staff coming to China is the work needs,and the ability they want to improve is oral English and reading.In terms of learning methods,they are different from the overseas students,and prefer the one-to-one teaching method.They also have a certain understanding of their teaching content and teachers’ needs.Through the analysis of differences,it is found that there is no significant difference in the needs of employees from different genders and levels.The above investigation and research are expected to provide some reference for Chinese teaching of the alien employees. |
