The Creation And Research Of Children’s Emotional Picture Books

The problem of left-behind children arises in rural China due to their parents’long-term employment far from home:that is,left-behind children can easily suffer from psychological problems such as loneliness,sensitivity,isolation and even autism due to the long-term lack of affection.Children’s picture books,as one of the main reading materials for family early education in today’s society,have a significant effect on psychological guidance for children’s growth and closer family relationships.Therefore,after combing,investigating and comprehensively analyzing the relevant materials,I decided to create a picture book of the "Lonely Kingdom",and use pictures to guide children to face loneliness and get out of loneliness.This paper studies the children’s picture book by combining theory with practice,which is divided into three parts:firstly,it systematically combs Abraham H Maslow’s hierarchy of needs,Edith Kramer’s art therapy and Jean Piaget’s theory of children’s psychological cognitive development,and comprehensively analyzes children’s emotional problems that may occur in the environment of lack of emotional needs,and generalizes the art function of healing of children’s picture book.Secondly,we collected the theoretical literature about the research of children’s emotional theme picture books through the way of visiting and investigating,on-the-spot investigation,as well as the theoretical research and artistic characteristics of the healing theme picture books.Thirdly,this paper analyzes three representative classic picture books,and summarizes the artistic characteristics of the picture books for cured children by analyzing and sorting out their script,character setting,style composition,and expression techniques.Finally,the theory combined with the practice creating the story script and story context,development story trend and the color change in line with it,outlining the protagonist,members and scenes,designing specific composition,dynamic and color,using color,dynamic and other foil the protagonist’s emotions,psychology,etc.,guide children to face loneliness,and out of loneliness.I(the author)thinks that the children’s picture book of "Lonely Kingdom" has a strong particularity,which is not only a guide to children’s emotion,but also an appeal to the society to pay attention to the emotional problems of left behind children.In order to carry forward the positive energy,I adopted the idea of transition from blue-green gloomy color to bright yellow light of hope,which is a sincere blessing for the left behind children,hoping to help the development of children’s emotions.Because of the limited time and energy,there are still some deficiencies in this study.But my attention and attempt to emotional children’s picture books will continue.
