The Literary Canon Construction Process Of Zhongchang Tong's "The Theory Of Lezhi"

In the middle and late Eastern Han dynasty,social unrest was caused by the frequent occurrence of natural disasters and decentralization.At the same time,due to the weakening of the Confucian classics and the revival of Laozi and Zhuangzi's doctrine,the ideology and culture became complicated and diverse.Facing the double crisis of survival needs and social value needs,unfortunate scholars learned from Taoism in isolation from the world and love of nature,in order to balance the mind.Zhongchang Tong has written "The Theory of Lezhi" praised by posterity to express his longing for an ideal life.The purpose of this study is to explore the literary canon construction process of Zhongchang Tong's "The Theory of Lezhi".From the time dimension,it includes the text generation process and the work acceptance process.From the perspective of space,the specific social and cultural background has an impact on the generation and acceptance of "The Theory of Lezhi".Based on the textual interpretation of "The Theory of Lezhi",it analyzes the internal reasons why "The Theory of Lezhi" has become a literary canon.The thesis is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is the textual interpretation of "The Theory of Lezhi".On the one hand,it examines the time and place of the creation of "The Theory of Lezhi",on the other hand,it analyzes the content and form of "The Theory of Lezhi" in a specific historical background.The second chapter focuses on the role of the author and the era in the formation of"The Theory of Lezhi".The formation of the author's temperament and thought is influenced by the times and is also reflected in the works.The third chapter analyzes the effect of posterity who play the role of reader in the literary canon construction process.Xie Lingyun inherited and carried forward the literary tradition of passionate about mountains and water.Emperor Xiao Gang conceptualized the ideal society in"The Theory of Lezhi" and refined the classic image of "Zhongchang Yuan".Some writers have re-created "The Theory of Lezhi" by quoting allusions,rewriting or imitating.In addition,Zhongchang Tong's "The Theory of Lezhi" has a profound impact and it is reflected by discussions on the character of Zhongchang Tong's Dashi and the authenticity of the ideal society.In the end,this study emphasized the position of "The Theory of Lezhi" in the history of thought.Because of the obvious Taoist spiritual interest in passionate about mountains and water,it has become a sign of transition from the Confucian classics of Han dynasty to the metaphysics of Wei and Jin dynasties.
