Theory And Practice:the Study Of Conceptual History In China

Modern historians have innovated and developed a series of historical paradigms,among which "conceptual history" has emerged since the 1960s and 1970s,which is based on the "linguistic turn" in historical research.Since that time,historical researchers have devoted more attention to the study of language.The focus of their research has also shifted:from traditional historical interpretation,to the achievement of historical 'research,when they concern about the narrative language,that is to promote the popularity and application of conceptual history.Until recently,in the course of the domestic historical circles'discussion on China's modern history,they began to draw on the methodology of conceptual history,thus forming some new contents with remarkable achievements.At the same time,through the application of relevant methodology in various special histories,and I've done a lot of things.Especially in the field of the study of the history of the Communist Party of China a major breakthrough in interdisciplinary research has been made and a very important progress has been made.However,the study of the history of concept in China has not been long and its foundation is not deep.At present,there are different types of challenges in the study of conceptual history in China.It can be said that the history of concept has also helped the development of domestic history and formed many new directions,new ideas and new spaces.The research method of concept history is very suitable to annotate Chinese "modern times".The reason is that since the middle of the 19th century,a large number of foreign words,terms and concepts have been translated into the Chinese world.Once they are separated from related words and concepts,many problems in modern reality can hardly be described clearly,leading to misunderstanding and prejudice.In addition,all along,except for a few general history works,many modern historical works in China have been concentrated in a certain range,which is often time-limited,but with the help of conceptual history,it is possible from a longer historical dimension,examine the whole character of a social change.The rise of it marks the historical research into a new stage of development.Similarly,the research method of conceptual history has opened a new chapter for the development of Chinese historiography.
