In the context of "Internet +" education,student-centered education is particularly important.The learning needs of students have undergone tremendous changes.The traditional "University English" teaching cannot be met due to some deficiencies in teaching methods and teaching objectives the learning and professional needs of contemporary college students.This article takes undergraduate students in a college in Southwest China as the research object,through literature research,questionnaire survey and interview method,in-depth investigation and understanding of the current situation of undergraduate students in a college in Southwestern University in "Classic English" classroom learning and online English learning.By analyzing the survey results through statistical analysis,we draw the following points:(1)Students in a university in Southwest China are still at a high level of interest in English classroom learning and enthusiasm for online courses.(2)The influencing factors of college students’ English online learning satisfaction from high to low are personal information,online learning content,self-efficacy,teacher level,interaction,learning effect and personal interest.(3)From high to low,the influencing factors of college students’ English classroom satisfaction are,in order,curriculum,curriculum arrangement,teaching facilities,teachers,learning purpose,second classroom and students themselves.In addition to the two highest satisfaction factors,tutorials and curriculum arrangements,teachers and teaching facilities are also crucial factors.(4)The satisfaction of a university in southwestern China with university online learning and "College English" classroom learning students also differs in gender and grade.Through previous studies,it is found that college students have a high degree of recognition for online learning.Most of them have studied English in the online environment and want to improve their English scores through online learning.In view of the advantages of WeChat’s high penetration rate and powerful functions among the student population,this study is based on the WeChat public platform for English teaching design.Empirical research and research found that the use of WeChat platform has greatly improved English reading ability.Of course,there are still some deficiencies in the application of English teaching based on the WeChat public platform.It is necessary to combine the strategy of "University English" classroom teaching to optimize the strategy,and gradually improve the auxiliary role of WeChat public platform English teaching and "University English" to effectivelyimprove the English listening and reading Writing and other abilities to cultivate college students’ independent learning ability. |
