Case Study On Cost Control Of HNGD Film Production

As an important part of the national cultural and creative industry,the film and television industry plays an extremely important role in the development of national cultural soft power.The domestic film and television industry has shown a development of a blowout type in the past 10 years.It has entered the era of information dissemination,in which network media,communication,radio and television,and other means of communication develops together.However,in the context of all-media development,2018 was the "darkest" year for the entire film and television industry,which was known as "film and television winter".Capital ebb,tax rectification,distribution price limit and so on have made the whole industry unstable.Under such a complicated situation,whether TV stations and major film and television production companies can effectively control the production cost of film and television works in the shooting and production process has become the key to the cost war of domestic film and television dramas in the fierce market competition.The film and television project,as a special type of project,has the characteristics of the project.Most domestic film and television projects rely on the personal experience of practitioners to control the production of film and television dramas.Experience management is the lowest level of management behavior in project management.It lacks systematic and scientific theoretical guidance and effective management and operation mechanism,so it affects the production efficiency and production quality of film and television dramas to a certain extent,and also causes unnecessary waste of human,financial and material resources to a certain extent.Therefore,we should strengthen the introduction of the scientific cost management concept in project management into the production of domestic film and television drama production.Based on the existing data of the project,we should develop the cost management plan,cost estimation,and cost budget beforehand,conduct cost accounting and cost control in the production process,and manage the cost analysis and assessment after the production.At the same time,we should develop relevant standardized industry management systems according to the characteristics of the film and television industry,and clarify the tasks,work contents and its quality requirements of each link in the film and television production process.This paper combined the work experience in HNGD and some film and television projects that I have participated to study related issues in the cost management process of domestic film and television projects.First of all,starting from the connotation,characteristics and process of project cost control,this paper simply explained the basic theory,and discussed the budget management that controls the cost of film and television dramas beforehand,and film and television drama cost controlling in the production process from the aspects of the characteristics,production cycle and influencing factors of film and television projects,based on related concepts of film and television project production management.Second,through the post-event analysis of the representative film and television projects I have experienced in the work,this paper explored the status quo of the cost management of the film and television drama projects in the planning and implementation stage in the domestic market,and analyzed the problems that should be noted in the cost control in film and television projects.Finally,in view of these status quo,referring to the theoretical basis and success stories,this paper put forward some referable and sustainable suggestions for the reduction of cost in the production process and better development of film and television dramas.
