The image of emperors and imperial concubines in ancient China is an important part of the art of ancient personality.this paper takes the portraits of emperors and empress in the song dynasty as the research object,analyzes their artistic characteristics,further clarifies the historical status of the portraits of emperors and empress in the song dynasty,and discusses their contemporary value.In the history of portraiture,there are many historical studies on the portraiture of emperors in the Ming and qing dynasties,but few on the portraiture of emperors in the song dynasty.After this article from the emperor portrait of plastic arts,graphic feature,historical background,from several aspects,such as painting language after the song dynasty emperor portrait made in-depth discussion and research,further expounds the artistic features after the song dynasty emperor portrait,and on the basis of the history of the interpretation of the song dynasty emperor portrait after status,analysis of the value of contemporary art.
