As one of the important Greek cities in the Greek world except Athens and Sparta,Corinth' conflict and cooperation with Athens largely reflects the overall situation of the Greek world in the classical era.Sometimes the conflict and cooperation between Athens and Corinth even Can determine the war and peace in the Greek world.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the conflict and cooperation between Athens and Corinth in the classical era.The first chapter of this paper is the introduction part of the thesis,which mainly explains the topic selection,significance and research trends at home and abroad.The second chapter introduces the Corinthian profile,mainly introducing the geographical location of Corinth,the economic situation and the early history of Corinth.The third chapter mainly explains the conflict and cooperation between Athens and Corinth during the Greco-Persian Wars.In this period,in addition to the Persian threat,Corinth's intention to use Athens to restrict Sparta's power too strong,the friendly tradition between Athens and Corinth is also an important factor.The fourth chapter is the conflict and cooperation between Athens and Corinth during the Peloponnesian War.It can be divided into the first Peloponnesian War,the 30 th Anniversary,the second Peloponnese and Discussed separately during the war.The fifth chapter is the conflict and cooperation between Athens and Corinth during the melee of the city-state.During this period,Sparta and Thebes successively dominated,but with the decline of the Greek city-state,the rise of Macedonia,Athens and Corinth fell into the control of Macedonia.Forced to join the Corinthian League,the classical era end.
