Zhang Jiuyue,a Qujia In The Middle Of Qing Dynasty And His Six Ruting

Zhang Jiuyu was a dramatist in the middle of Qing Dynasty and a native of Xiangtan,Hunan Province.He was born in 1721,the 60 th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty.His ancestral home was Xiangyang,Hubei Province,and later moved to Xiangtan,where his family was superior and his grandfather was highly respected.His family was also full of talented people.Zhang Jiuyu was edified by his family from an early age and had a strong literary literacy.Although Zhang Jiuyu was short of wizards,his imperial examinations were not smooth,his official career was bumpy,he was always depressed and frustrated.He was fond of friendship and literary creation,and had contacts with scholars,officials,opera writers,monks and so on.His works include Taoyuan Literature Collection,Taoyuan Poetry Collection and Poetry Tales of the Past Dynasties.His opera works include the legendary Six Ruting,which is praised as "Qiwen" by the world.His poetry and opera creation had a certain influence on the literary world in the middle of Qing Dynasty.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is a summary of the previous studies on Zhang Jiuye’s poetry and opera.The second chapter introduces Zhang Jiuyan’s life and friendship,which is mainly divided into three aspects: monks,literati officials and operatists.In order to explore Zhang Jiuye’s trajectory and pave the way for exploring Zhang Jiuye’s opera creation.The third chapter classifies Zhang Jiuyan’s poems and lyrics,and excavates Zhang Jiuyan’s thoughts in his works of landscape painting,meditation and enlightenment,history chanting and nostalgia,and recitation.This paper analyses Zhang Jiuyu’s expression of self-mentality and personal situation and his concern for the current state of affairs.The fourth and fifth chapters analyze the origin,artistic characteristics and image-building of ZhangJiuyu’s opera creation.Although Zhang Jiuyu draws on historical stories in his work "Six Ruting",his creation is quite novel.Combining historical truth with legendary fiction,the plot is complete and novel,the layout is ingenious,and the first and last echoes each other,so as to alternate the two clues,promote the development of the plot together,and ingeniously make the thought of "Six Rules" run through the whole text.From the point of view of character image,every character created by Zhang Jiuyu has different speech,behavior and ideas,and the speech and behavior conform to the character of the character,and the image is more full.The application of various rhetoric techniques embodies Zhang Jiuyu’s superb skill in language.Zhang Jiuyu narrated the opera creation from the aspects of the overall structure,Palace tunes,cards and ideological content.He combined the theory of opera creation of religion with the creative thought of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,and fully demonstrated the artistic characteristics of the works.Chapter 6 compares Zhang Jiuyu’s Six Ruting with Su Shi’s plays in the middle of Qing Dynasty,highlighting the unique features of the works in terms of image creation,theme selection and plot content.Generally speaking,as one of the outstanding poets and operas in the middle of Qing Dynasty,Zhang Jiuyu should be paid attention to by the academic circles.Through the study of his poems and operas,we can understand the dynamics of Su Shi’s operas in the middle of Qing Dynasty.
