Research On The Art Form Of "Harmony And Kindness" The Woodcut Print For Chinese Spring Festival In Taohuawu

Taohuawu woodcut prints for Chinese Spring Festival are a typical folk art style in south China.They are bright pearl in the treasure house of Chinese folk art.Its subject matter is very extensive,deeply reflecting the folk custom,the daily work and the cultural demand of wu people,reposes their hopes and feelings for a better life,has rich local characteristic and aesthetic connotation.As one of the most distinctive and representative works of the woodcut prints in Taohuawu,the Qing dynasty of Yong Zheng and Qian Long era's version of Harmony and Kindness completely reflects the typical characteristics of the flourishing period of Taohuawu woodcut prints.Harmony and Kindness is also widely circulated because of its unique charm,style and beautiful meaning,which is loved by the public.This paper focuses on the research of Harmony and Kindness.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly expounds the research ideas,value,status,and the methods,the background of the topic,and the innovation of this paper.The second chapter studies and explains the characters in the print,its theme can be traced back to the painting of Ming Xianzong.Based on it,this image is compared with other existing similar images,and sorts out the circulation and change of the theme of affability.The third chapter analyzes the art form of Harmony and Kindness,from the four aspects of composition,shape,line and color,and comprehensively discusses the overall appearance of this typical folk woodcut print,and summarizes its artistic characteristics.In the fourth chapter,the author compares the Qing dynasty of Yong Zheng and Qian Long era's version with the Jia Qing period,the late Qing dynasty,the Republic of China and other versions of the same region,and compares this version with Hunan Tantou and Henan Zhuxianzhen's editions,so as to deepen the understanding of this classic folk art image.
