| After entering the 21 st century,China’s economy has been developing rapidly,the film market has become more and more mature,and the domestic youth film has gradually become the "gold sucker" in the film market.At the same time of box office sales,domestic youth films bear the stigma of "disaster areas of bad films".These films frequently make complaints about audiences at the high box office,mostly due to problems in the narrative content of the films.Therefore,based on the film narrative theory,this paper analyzes the growth narrative of Chinese youth films in the new century,and applies the research results of the text to the short films taken by ourselves for case study.This paper is divided into five chapters.In the first chapter,the author analyzes the research on youth film at home and abroad,finds the importance of the narrative research on the growth of youth film in China in the new century,and arranges 127 youth films since the new century,sums up these films,and provides case analysis for the growth narrative research below.In the second chapter,the author confuses them with youth film This paper distinguishes the types of films,analyzes the reasonable and unreasonable points of the definition of the concept of youth film by different scholars,redefines the concept of youth film incombination with the pace of the development of the times,and combs the youth film since the 21 st century,which can be roughly divided into three stages: the characteristics of youth cruelty(2000-2009),youth film The characteristics of nostalgia(2010-2016)and the trend of youth Realism(2017 present).The third chapter analyzes the growth narrative strategy of the youth film in the new century from four aspects: theme selection,character shaping,perspective selection and means setting.It finds that the themes of growth narrative are mostly nostalgia and memory,emotion and confusion,agitation and rebellion,ideal and reality.The protagonists of growth narrative play the role of youth growth In the growth narrative,the inner perspective of the "first person" feature and the omniscient perspective are mostly chosen;the means of the growth narrative are mostly set up as the growth narrative space with the city as the core,the growth narrative structure with a variety of narrative techniques,the growth narrative content of the metaphor of the times and the shaping of the group image.The fourth chapter reflects on the crux of the growth narrative of Chinese youth films: in content creation,imitation,plagiarism and homogenization are serious,and the content deviates from the reality seriously.In character creation,the phenomenon of idolization and extreme behavior of characters is presented.At the same time,the content of growth narrative also has the problem of lack of value orientation.The fifth chapter briefly analyzes the content of the aboveresearch results applied to the creation practice of the personal work Xi.Through the study of the narrative strategy of the growth of Chinese youth film in the new century,this paper aims to contribute to the theoretical and practical research of Chinese youth film,and provide constructive theoretical research for the good development of Chinese youth film. |
