With globalization and the rapid development of the Internet,the spread of English in the world is unmatched by any language.Foreign language classroom is the place where students have the most opportunities to practice spoken English,and studying students' willingness to communicate in foreign languages in the classroom can improve students' ability of foreign language communication and cross-cultural communication,and enhance students' awareness of learning foreign languages on their own initiative.The willingness to communicate foreign languages in the classroom refers to the tendency of middle school students to actively use foreign languages to communicate in classroom situations.There were few studies showing interest in adult students' willingness to communicate foreign languages.This study selected a total of 562 students from several colleges and universities,non-foreign language majors and foreign language majors as research objects,and used questionnaire survey and interview survey to try to understand the current situation of foreign language communication intentions and influencing factors in different groups of students,and compared the three groups of students.The results indicate that the willingness of adult students,non-foreign language majors and foreign language majors to communicate foreign languages is generally low,cultural identity,foreign language learning motivation and communication ability selfassessment are the main factors affecting adult students,foreign language anxiety,The self-assessment of foreign language learning motivation and communicative ability is the main factor affecting non-foreign language majors and foreign language majors,while the scores of non-foreign language majors in foreign language communication are significantly higher than those of foreign language majors and adults,and the scores of foreign language majors in the classroom are significantly higher than those of adults.According to the data and interview survey,this paper raises different suggestions for different students to improve their willingness to improve foreign languagein in the classroom,and finally points out the shortcomings of this study and the prospect of future research,hoping to help the richness of foreign language teaching practice and theory.
