Communicative willingness is an important factor affecting the language ability of foreign students,and most of the existing studies focus on the willingness of Chinese communication in class.However,in the context of target language,the influence of extracurricular Chinese communicative intention on foreign students’ language ability can not be ignored.Its importance lies in the direct introduction of language communication behavior,higher extracurricular Chinese communication willingness can stimulate learners to participate in the real environment of language communication,so that limited classroom teaching to unlimited extracurricular learning extension,thus contributing to language acquisition.We It is found that the factors affecting the willingness of foreign students to communicate in extracurricular Chinese are not isolated and disorderly,but are organically linked in the framework provided by the target language environment before serving the established talent training goals.Therefore,the investigation and study of students’ willingness to communicate in extracurricular Chinese plays a key role in forming the integrity of studying abroad and realizing the goal of second language acquisition.In view of the above academic background and reality,this study selected three universities in Dalian as participants.This study collected the data of the above subjects’ willingness to communicate with Chinese outside class in the form of questionnaire and semi-structured interview,and investigated the present situation and characteristics of their willingness to communicate with Chinese outside class.At the same time,this study analyzed the background factors(gender,country,personality,living situation,time to come to China)and emotional factors(communication fear,self-perceived communicative competence,motivation)that affected the subjects’ willingness to communicate in Chinese and foreign language.All the data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed by SPSS22.0:(1)by drawing Descriptivestatistics reflect the present situation of Chinese communicative willingness in subjects’ class;(2)the influence of background variables on extracurricular Chinese communicative willingness by independent sample T test and single factor;(3)the correlation between emotional variables and Chinese communicative willingness in subjects’ class was detected and reflected by correlation analysis.The results reflected in the questionnaire showed that the subjects generally had higher extracurricular Chinese communication willingness,lower self-perceived communication ability and higher communication fear.This phenomenon has been explained in semi-structured interviews,and foreign students in China have realized that using the target language to communicate with the local people is the best way to improve their language ability,which is proposed by us above The background factors and emotional factors are fetters,but the communicative will is not put into communication.It is of practical significance to solve the influence of background factors and emotional factors on students’ willingness to communicate in extracurricular Chinese,and to improve the teaching system of Chinese as a foreign language.
