As a kind of Chinese written communication ability, the importance of writing ability is self-evident.However,as a kind of comprehensive Chinese ability training,TCFL has not given enough attention. In the past, the research on Chinese writing teaching mainly focused on specific teaching methods. The research focused more on the summary of teachers' daily teaching experience, however it was lacking of effective theoretical exploration and empirical research.Since the nineties of last century, the application of Schema Theory in second language teaching has become more and more extensive, and more and more attention is being paid to it in the field of writing teaching. On the basis of corpus analysis and questionnaire survey, this paper analyzes the feasibility of applying Schema Theory to writing teaching, explores the application of different types of Schema in different genres in intermediate Chinese writing teaching, and effectively improves learners' Chinese writing level. This paper is divided into five parts. The first chapter is the introduction, which explains the reason and significance of the topic, reviews the relevant literature and theories, and introduces the research methods of this paper. The second chapter discusses the relationship between Schema Theory, schema theory and Chinese writing, and aims to understand the application of Schema Theory by middle-level Chinese learners. The third chapter looks at the application of Schema Theory in Chinese teaching practice. The author has designed and implemented a method of teaching for intermediate Chinese writing. In order to perfect the follow-up research, the problems in practice and application are discussed. The fifth chapter summarizes the whole paper.
