The Multi-angle Study Of "V/A Jiu V/A Le"

"V/A jiu V/A le" is used frequently in modern Chinese and it is the object in this study.We make a definition of the construction,mainly analyze it from three parts:semantics,syntax and pragmatics.And we discuss its formation in the end.We do a multi-angle study on “V/A jiu V/A le” in this article.Firstly,we discuss the "V/A jiu V/A le" and its components—the variable "V/A",the constant "jiu" and "le".The variable "V/A" consists of verb and adjective components;the constant "jiu" is a adverb;the constant "le" is a dynamic particle.Secondly,we discuss the "V/A jiu V/A le" on the basis of three planes: semantics,syntax and pragmatics.Semantically,We analyze it from static and dynamic state,it can express the static meaning itself and express the dynamic meaning through context.Syntactically,we dicuss the syntactic function and some special uses of it.Pragmatically,we analyze the characteristics according to three aspects: information structure,textual function and conversation analysis.Finally,we make a study on "X jiu X" and "V/A le jiu V/A le",they are similar to "V/A jiu V/A le".We compare them,analyze the relation among them and explain the formation of "V/A jiu V/A le".
