The unique agricultural environment of the mountains and rivers in Taishan region provides a favorable natural environment for its agricultural culture.The Qing dynasty also attached great importance to agricultural production,paid attention to summarize the experience of predecessors,compiled books to advise farmers.These conditions greatly expanded the range of agricultural culture in Taishan region.The history of crop cultivation is an important part of agricultural culture.Peanut is an important crop in Taishan area,but it is not the traditional crop in Taishan area.It was introduced in the Qing dynasty and changed in the late Qing dynasty.The large-scale peanut cultivation has exerted an important influence on the Taishan region in economic and social aspects.Cabbages have also been introduced from the south to the north of the species of cabbages,yellow bud white has become one of the "three beauties of mount Tai" representative specialty.Among the characteristic fruit trees,the peach of feicheng formed a unique geographical brand and became a tribute in the Qing dynasty,which also attracted the protection of the peach of feicheng.The planting scale of dates and chestnuts in the Qing dynasty also increased.Thought is an important part of agricultural culture.Fan shuian's agronomy thought is not only reflected in his agricultural book brief new compilation of nongsang,but also in the successful development of manor.The establishment of Tianwai village is the embodiment of his agronomy thought in practice.Due to the frequent occurrence of natural disasters in the late Qing dynasty,huang entong,who lived in the village,paid special attention to agriculture,and combined his own agricultural practice and theory to form his agronomy thoughts with local characteristics,which were reflected in his agronomy works and a number of anthologies.The Taishan region has also developed unique agricultural customs,such as Taishan tea customs and food customs.
