The late Han Dynasty and the Wei and Jin dynasties were the key period for the consciousness and transformation of the development of ancient Chinese literature and art in China,while the Eastern Jin Dynasty was a period of maturity and stereotypes of literary style.The literature and art of the Eastern Jin Dynasty inherited from the Han,Wei and Western Jin Dynasty upwards,and inspired the Southern Dynasty and Sui,Tang Dynasties downwards.The Langya Wang family,throughout the development of the Eastern Jin Dynasty,was the first-class gatekeepers at that time.The members of the family were well-known for their achievements in literature and calligraphy at the time.With their superb skills and deep thoughts and emotions,they broke through the limitations of the two categories of literature and calligraphy,created outstanding works in calligraphy and literature works.Based on the literature,this article will systematically sort out the literary and calligraphy achievements of the Langya Wang family,and carry out a comprehensive study of the two-way interaction of literature and calligraphy across disciplines.The study of Medieval clans cannot be separated from region,family and culture,and the development of family culture is affected by regional culture.The literary and artistic achievements of the Langya Wang family benefited from the nourishment of the family culture.From Han Dynasty to Eastern Jin Dynasty,wars were frequent and the country was divided.The area where the Langya Wangs lived from Langya to Luoyang and finally came to Zhejiang.The family culture of Wang Langya was influenced by Qilu culture,Central Plains culture and Jiangnan culture.The exchange and integration of different regional cultures promoted the renewal and innovation of the Langya Wang family’s culture,and had a profound impact on their literary and calligraphy creations.In the early Eastern Jin Dynasty,Wang Lang’s literary and artistic creations tended to be classical.Most of the family literature creation was noble literature,and began to learn calligraphy with a simple style.In the middle of the Eastern Jin Dynasty,the family achieved the highest achievements in literature and art.The representative of literary creation is metaphysical poetry,the style has changed into meaningful and unrestrained;calligraphy creation is most prominent with Wang Xizhi,and the style becomes graceful.In the late Eastern Jin Dynasty,literature and calligraphy continued to develop along the direction of emphasizing emotion and liking novelty.Wang xianzhi’s novel and beautiful style of calligraphy is unique.During the Eastern Jin Dynasty,literature and calligraphy overlapped in three aspects: creative background,creative subject and aesthetic orientation.The interaction between literature and calligraphy is deeper,and the Langya Wang family is a typical representative.The specific manifestations are as follows: in the content of creation,literature and calligraphy interpenetrate each other,and each other is the content of creation,which enriches the types of literature and calligraphy;In terms of creative form,style and book form interact in two directions and cooperate with each other,which promotes the roundness of the content and achieves harmony.in the creative emotions,the two stimulate each other to maximize the lyrical aesthetic function of literature and calligraphy.The preface of Wang’s “Book”,which is considered to be the best calligraphy,is typical of the comprehensive aesthetic function of literature.
