The Presentation Of Fairfield Porter’s Painting Style And Its Influence On The Personal Creation

During the Renaissance,artists emancipated their minds and dared to explore paintings.They integrated personal feelings and reality into their paintings and each of them had different artistic expression.For oil paintings,Fairfield Porter,as a famous American oil painter and an art critic,had his own style and views on it.He believed that everything had its unique beauties.Through the study of some relevant materials,I will explore Porter’s oil painting art.This paper is divided into three main parts.The first part analyzes Porter’s paintings from his work experience,the historical background and the forming of his personal characteristics;the second part discusses the content and artistic features of his paintings;and the third part is the main part,which mainly discusses the influence of Porter’s artistic creation on my own’s painting creation.Through the course of Potter’s artistic creation,this paper directly describes the reasons for the formation of Potter’s artistic style,as well as the influence on my creation,which is also the main content of the thesis.
