Applied Research Of Chinese Character Graphic Design

Graphic design is more and more popular among the designer community in this fast-paced era with it’s advantages which is intutive and less culturally restricted.Chinese character graphic is a graphic design which has multiple functions,it is based on Chinese characters and make changes on this basis.From Shang dynasty to now,Chinese character graphic has been passed form single to diberse,and well known as "Lucky Forture"new year pictures," Double Happiness" paper cutting,"Kuixing kick the bucket"stone carbings and many other forms.Chinese character graphics are regarded as commonplace by the public,but because of the rare strict information,it has inconvenient to use.So in this paper,the author discusses the definition,nature,orgin and development of Chinese character graphic design,and sum up the way it was conceived and it’s scope of application by consulting books and literatures.To sum up,the author hopes that in this way to support the development of Chinese character graphic design,and provide some reference for typography design and application.
