Study On Shangluo Drum Opera

On May 20,2006,Shangluo Drum Opera was approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China to be included in the first national nonmaterial cultural heritage.Since then,the Shangluo Drum Opera has gone out of its birthplace and has completed the transformation from unknown to famous.Domestic research related is relatively increasing,but it is not too much compared with others.Besides,topics of those researches are relatively single,focusing on stereotypical aspects of the Drum Opera,such as study on one specific work,one aspect,or a certain aspect,of a work,or a relatively in-depth study of the cultural significance,value bearing,aesthetic characteristics,protection and rescue of Shangluo Drum Opera.Therefore,this paper intends to scan its cultural source and development to conduct an in-depth and multidimensional study of the Shangluo Drum Opera and to offer a historical data for the later studies.Exploring the source of Shangluo Drum Opera,this article will sort it out from the following aspects: 1.Tracing the history of its development,including its germination,its early form and its official formation or its cultural trigger and foundation,including the relationship between the opera and customs,native songs and dances and other factors.2.Its distribution,performers and county theater.3.Its stage art,including the music aria,the performance system,etc.4.An overview of the existing repertoire,including classical and modern ones.5.Its status quo,development and future,etc.Finally,this paper discusses the current developing trend of Shangluo Drum Opera,as well as its diverse values on history,culture,folk entertainment,cognitive education,spiritual aesthetics,etc.And hopefully,this paper completes the research on the predecessors' research,enriching and perfecting the regional culture of Shangluo.
