The Research On Hu Weiyuan And His "Five Dramas Of Hu An"

Hu weiyuan(1850--1924),born in daxing,shuntian(now part of Beijing),was a jinshi in the third year of the guangxu reign.On the basis of previous studies,this paper makes a comprehensive and systematic analysis and research on hu weiyuan and his "Five Dramas of Hu An" from three aspects,including family history and life,friends and writings,and "Five Dramas of Hu An",and tries to dig out the cultural connotation and artistic deposits of her drama works as much as possible.The first chapter is the introduction.Firstly,the purpose and significance of this topic are elaborated.Secondly,it classifies and summarizes the previous research results and shortcomings of hu weiyuan and his research on "Five Dramas of Hu An";The second chapter is an examination of hu weiyuan's family history and life.Through reviewing and checking relevant local Chronicles,literati's writings in qing dynasty and records in his poetry anthology,an objective examination of hu weiyuan's family history and life is made;The third chapter is about hu weiyuan's communication and writing test.In the communication test,the author mainly studies his disciples and friends who wrote inscriptions and prefaces for his works and mentioned in the preface,some of his writings,and examines his communication activities so as to gain insight into hu weiyuan's humanistic environment at that time and better grasp his ideological character,so as to serve as the basis for further research on his drama creation.This paper mainly reviews the edition and collection of hu weiyuan's works,and investigates the content of her poetry and prose creation to explore its influence on her opera creation;The fourth chapter is the study of hu weiyuan's "Five Dramas of Hu An",focusing on the ideological tendency and artistic characteristics of three kinds of zaju and two kinds of sangqu in the "Five Dramas of Hu An",hu weiyuan's existing opera collection.This chapter starts from the study of opera texts and combines hu weiyuan's familybackground,life history,friendship and creation background at that time to summarize the voice of troubled times,sigh of life and thoughts of progress conveyed in hu weiyuan's operas,and deeply explores the artistic value of her works in plot setting,character shaping,language style and other aspects.At the same time,this paper analyzes the ideological content of "Drama Theory Hu An",explores the source of his opera theory,and summarizes hu wei yuan's opera theory and ideology.
