Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes are large in scale and well preserved.They are a treasure trove of Buddhist art in China.Their historical culture,murals,and colorful sculptures have high historical,scientific,artistic,and social values.They were listed by UNESCO in 1987.World Heritage.As a world cultural heritage,Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes has become a famous cultural tourism destination,and it also faces the contradiction between protection and utilization,which meets the growing spiritual and cultural needs of the general public.Protection and utilization are by no means opposite,and their relationship It can be a positive influence on each other,protection is the premise,and utilization is a means of sustainable development.There is no inevitable contradiction between the two.Rational use is also a more effective protection to a certain extent.While achieving scientific protection and maximizing the development and utilization of the comprehensive mechanism of heritage,we can achieve a win-win model for the protection and utilization of cultural relics.At present,China has made great progress in the protection and utilization of large sites.This paper analyzes the current status of the development and utilization of Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang by studying the protection and utilization models of large sites.Based on its own characteristics,it proposes a protection planning strategy and prospects for construction.The prospect of the ruins park hopes to alleviate the contradiction between the increasingly severe protection and utilization of Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang,and provides research ideas for the effective protection and sustainable use of Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang.Provide useful lessons.
