Study On Zhu Tingzhen's "Tang Xian San Mei Ji Commentary"

Zhu Tingzhen(1841-1903),who lived in the late Qing dynasty,wrote three volumes of Mu Qing Tang's poems,four volumes of sequel and four volumes of“Xiao Yuan Shi hua”.According to the related records of his student Hua Shiyao,Zhu Tingzhen also made a large number of literary comments before his death,which were basically lost.The extant "Tang Xian San Mei Ji Commentary " is one of them.In addition to the “Xiao Yuan Shi hua ”,“Tang Xian San Mei Ji Commentary” is the another important literary theory writings of Zhu,the present academia research of Zhu Tingzhen poetics mainly based on “Xiao Yuan Shi hua”.There is little attention to the “Tang Xian San Mei Ji Commentary”,Researching the “Tang Xian San Mei Ji Commentary” can help us to make better understanding of Zhu Tingzhen's poetics theory.This paper is divided into five chapters.For giving a basic introduction to the whole book,the first chapter will check the process and content of“Tang Xian San Mei Ji Commentary”,classify Zhu Tingzhen's comments.The second chapter explore the poetic approach of Zhu Tingzhen 's comments from four aspects: comments poetry by zen,the relationship between poetry and painting,poetic style and talent,and the structure of poetry's begining and end.The third chapter mainly studies Zhu Tingzhen's poetic thoughts.First,through comparing Zhu Tingzhen's and Ji Yun's poetic comments,We can find the influence of Ji Yun's poetic thoughts on Zhu Tingzhen.Secondly,we analyze the definition of Zhu Tingzhen's poems of the Tang dynasty,and sorts out the advantages and disadvantages of his poetic theories.Finally,the we analyze Zhu Tingzhen's doubts about the style of “Tang Xian San Mei Ji ”.The fourth chapter,focusing on the Qing,explores the origin of Qing as an important aesthetic style of classical poetics,and discusses Zhu Tingzhen 's acceptance and criticism of Wang Shizhen's poetics.The fifth chapter discusses Zhu Tingzhen's poetic theory from three aspects: the influence of his family,the influence of synchronous and regional scope theory.Based on the above five aspects,this papertries to reveal Zhu Tingzhen's understanding of the“Tang Xian San Mei Ji”,sort out Zhu Tingzhen's acceptance of Wang Shizhen's poetics theory,expand the current research on Zhu Tingzhen's poetics theory,and outline the regional factors in the poetics theory of Yunnan poetry circle in the late Qing dynasty.
