In primary school English classes,the ways of cooperation are monotonic and students have seldom opportunities to imagine and create.To enhance the students' creative thinking,autonomous learning and cooperative ability,it's a valuable and practical to utilize the drama for English learning.Drama usually needs multifarious preparation like props,scenery,and costumes.But virtual studio makes the preparation simpler and provides the students a vigorous innovative space because of its virtual effects.However,there is a lack of practical experience.The Virtual Studio System technique can make use of computer creating dummy properties and scenes and it compose those stuffs and foreground signals come from camera in studios.In this paper,English virtual-micro-drama has particular features as follows: short plots,few characters,moderate language difficulty.In the English virtual-micro-drama classes,students are encouraged to learn and use English by intimating,creating,simple and deep cooperation in order to improve their English and digital literacy.Based on the blended learning,experiential learning and projected based learning theory,the design of English virtual-micro-drama adheres to open principle and comprehensive principle.The learning activities are carried out by dramatic teams through the progress of theme selection,work division,team operation,production sharing,which gradually construct the “English +” comprehensive course,set up “drama & virtual” language scene,cultivate the students' independent and cooperative learning ability,improve the students' accomplishment of English and IT capacity.
