On The Prose Characteristics Of Sun Li's Novels

Sun Li is a unique figure in the history of modern and contemporary Chinese literature.In the past,most of the commentaries on Sun Li's novels started with the emotional expression and artistic conception creation of famous novels,which were summed up as "poetic novels".However,with the overall observation of Sun Li's novels,people gradually find that Sun Li's novels also contain the characteristics of prose culture.In the past,people's evaluation of the prose cultural characteristics of Sun Li's novels was only based on specific texts,but lacked systematic discussion.This paper intends to make a new look at the narrative style of Sun Li's novels from the perspective of prose fiction.Prose fiction is a term often used in academic circles in recent years.It generally refers to some creative styles that combine novel and prose.In the history of modern and contemporary Chinese literature,there are many writers and works with prose style.This is regarded as the "new style" of novel exploration and experiment.Despite the lack of adequate stylistic basis,the development of the past 100 years has also formed a phenomenon worthy of attention.This paper is divided into five chapters to analyze the prose cultural characteristics of Sun Li's novels.The first chapter mainly elaborates the relationship between Sun Li's novels and the stream of prose fiction in modern China.Through the analysis,it is pointed out that prose fiction has formed a stream since modern times in China.Sun Li's fiction,as one of them,has its unique characteristics of expression.The following three chapters are the main contents of this paper,respectively,from the plot structure,characterization,subjective lyricism and other aspects of Sun Li's novel prose characteristics.Sun Li is keen on emotional expression but neglected to set up the plot structure of the novel.The plot of the novel is diluted and the structure is dispersed obviously.The characters who pursue the "ultimate beauty" also lead to the incomplete characterization.The direct and indirect subjective lyricism embodies the direct lyricism of prose.The lyricism of recalling style also contains the author's recall and nostalgia.The last chapter mainly explores the causes of the prose characteristics of Sun Li's novels,and expounds the relationship between the writer's personality and literary style from two aspects: the writer's personality and aesthetic pursuit.The concluding part mainly summarizes the significance and aesthetic value of Sun Li's prosaic features,and makes an evaluation of the loose structure of Sun Li's novels.
